In response to your comment about the first plan, it ignores a couple of key facts. When UNSCOP was in the fact-finding phase of the plan, Arab leaders refused to go to Palestine to provide their testimonies. This is even before a partition plan was presented. UNSCOP ended up having to go to them in Lebanon. That shows a lack of "good faith" in my opinion from Arab leaders. Secondly, it ignores that there were hundreds of thousands of Jews who were refugees who had no place to go. Based on the testimonies from UNSCOP, that was one of the major factors taken into consideration when developing the partition plan. To your second comment, my point in this article is that Arab and Palestinian leadership have failed their people. This first proposal is only one example.
